Attack Cat Available Online
My friend's band, Attack Cat, now has their new EP "When The Moon Was Big" available for purchase online from iTunes and CD Baby. Easier for me than buying a plane ticket to go watch a show.

Sunny Days

Picasa Faces
The latest update to Google's photo organization software Picasa includes a new facial recognition feature. It's rather amazing in it's ability to find and suggest similar faces, especially when it starts learning from your input. It's also really good at picking out faces from the distant background of a photo, even when blurry. However, this also is a pain when it's pulling up every single face from a crowd shot of parades, etc. That makes for a lot of extra faces to ignore. It also slips up a lot when looking at profile views, which can lead to some humorous suggestions when it thinks a young female friend is an older male friend. Overall it adds a great feature for grouping photos if you have the time to help it sort through your photos.
